DAUNORUBICIN INDUCED BLUE-GRAY HYPERPIGMENTATION: A CASE REPORT

Daunorubicin is used widely in the treatment of acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML). Daunorubicin has some toxicity which limit the usage of drug. Blue-gray pigmentation is an uncommon side effect of daunorubicin. It is one of the side effect which might disturb patient for a long time cosmetically. We report here a hyperpigmentation case with acute myelomonocytic leukemia who is still on the treatment.
