CLINICAL FOLLOW UP AND TREATMENT OF CHRONIC ITP: TURGUT ÖZAL MEDICAL CENTER EXPERIENCE

Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) can be seen either in acute or chronic form. In adults, ITP is generally seen in the chronic form. Steroid is the first choice of treatment in these patients. This retrospective study deals with the treatment and clinical follow up 49 patients diagnosed as ITP.
